"Having spent a lot of time behind the camera lens, I decided I'd like to try and see what it felt like on the other side, so I booked myself my own boudoir shoot. Generally I hate being photographed, don't think I'm photogenic, and I'm not a 'babe', but wanted to be able to understand how my clients feel when I'm photographing them.
I asked a photographer friend, Chris, who I totally trust and feel comfortable with to do the shoot, otherwise I wouldn't have had the confidence to go ahead.
I went out and bought myself some new underwear which was quite exciting because I don't normally wear fancy underwear atall! The shoot was fun, it made me feel good about myself and when it came to an end, I actually found myself saying to Chris, can we just do this, can we just try that - I just wanted to carry on and do more rather than stop.
For me my boudoir sessions are totally about making women feel good about themselves and for them to realise that it doesn't matter what age or size you are - you can feel and look fabulous!"
